If you’ve been suffering with back pain awhile, you probably are using these techniques…but for new back pain sufferers, a few pointers for you…
Your discs are more vulnerable in the morning. Try not to bend too much in the first two hours after waking. I find that even using a bowl to brush my teeth with helps!
You should always roll to your side and move yourself up on your elbows and swing your legs over to get out of bed. No quick moves. Be gentle with yourself! And surely you know to always lift with your knees and not with your back! Another biggie…stretch!! Stretching is one of the best things you can do for your entire body, especially your back!
Our muscles constrict as we age, which can lead to all types of back problems, which is why stretching those muscle is so important. You are also providing much needed oxygen to the cells and improving blood flow to your spine, which in turn goes to all the major organs of body! This allows your body to heal itself. Our BackTRAX provides a solid balanced platform for stretching and relaxing the back.
